Who Am I?
Hi, I'm Hayden Keers — a Firmware & DSP Engineer in Sydney.
My mission is to squeeze more out of your embedded systems through low-level optimizations. Your product needs faster processing in a smaller footprint, requiring smart code that's resourceful at the clock cycle and logic element level. I've demonstrated this at Cochlear (ASX 50 medtech DSP) and now at Morse Micro, building Wi-Fi HaLow firmware for low-power IoT semiconductors. I also work with FPGA, VHDL, assembly-level signal paths, and hardware-in-the-loop verification.

From university projects to production hardware — I've designed boards from scratch, including a mini autonomous vehicle PCB with MCU, Wi-Fi module, and motor drivers. At Cochlear, I helped de-risk co-processor integration directly on device PCBs.
